Our clinic is conveniently located at 291 N. Pecos, Henderson NV 89074-1918

The location is 3-1/2 blocks (1.7 miles) north of the 215 Freeway on the West side of Pecos Road just South of Robindale Road. It is also 4 miles East of U.S. 93/U.S. 95/I-515.

Surrounding blocks are Eastern Avenue, Warm Springs Road, Green Valley Parkway, and Windmill Parkway.

Our office is open on Weekdays: 8am-7pm & Saturdays: 8am-3pm.

You need to carry your health insurance card and picture identity card. If your appointment concerns a medical report, bring it if you have it. New patients should bring all their prescription bottles along with names, addresses, and phone numbers of previous providers.

Minors need to be accompanied by their parent(s) and/or guardian(s). If the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) are unable to come in with the patient, they may send a signed letter stating that the patient is permitted to be seen in the office alone, along with a copy of the parent's or guardian’s photo ID.

Yes, we may offer same-day appointments, depending on the provider you would like to see.

We gladly accept walk-ins. You may see any of our providers on duty when you come in, depending on their schedule. We will make sure to accommodate your needs.

Would you like to schedule a doctor’s appointment now, even if it is not during business hours? Family Doctors of Green Valley has real time online appointment booking 24 hours a day.

Patient will not be charged for cancelling the appointment, but we would appreciate a 24-hour notice for cancellation. This will help us to keep the office running efficiently for everyone.

We appreciate and welcome walk-ins if you would like to be seen by any one of our doctors. If you would like to see a particular doctor, then you need to schedule an appointment in advance. Give us a call, or setup an appointment online.

There are two options for obtaining copies of your records.

  1. Come into our office with your photo id, and we can print your records for you.
  2. Fax a signed consent letter stating that you are allowing Family Doctors of Green Valley to fax/mail your records. NOTE: We charge 60 cents per page for any records over 10 pages.

Primary care is the first point of contact a person has with the health system – the point where people receive care for most of their everyday health needs.

A Primary Care Provider acts as the principal point of consultation for patients within a health care system and coordinates other specialists that the patient may need. As Primary Care Providers, we make sure you get all the services that optimize your health and quality of life, whatever your age or health issues.

Your Primary Care Provider does all the tests necessary to monitor your health and determine when a specialist may be required. Your Provider will make the recommendation when it is time.

It depends on when your last visit with our office was, and what type of medication is being refilled.

NARCOTICS will NOT be refilled without an office visit with one of our providers.

Contact our office for any prescription questions. Please give our office 48 hours to either complete the prescription or get back to you regarding your request.

BHRT is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Hormones regulate metabolism and many bodily functions. If your hormones are not at the right level, it can contribute to health problems, like obesity, depression, sexual dysfunction, fatigue, and more. Supplementation with bioidentical hormones can gently bring your levels back to their optimal levels so you can make progress in reaching your health and wellbeing goals.

Bioidentical hormones are just like the ones your own body makes, so they are safe and effective.

When you sign up for our BHRT program, we do bloodwork to test your hormone levels, see where supplementation is needed, and monitor your progress, adjusting the dosages when needed to make sure they are just right for you.

Most tests are performed at our location so that you will have the convenience and time savings of having them at a familiar location. Special tests may be referred out.

We will give you a special binder in which you can keep your test results. We call it the Personal Health Record.

Your binder contains:

  • your personal health overview,
  • lab tests,
  • reports of any other exams and screenings,
  • specific health conditions, and
  • a personal notes and questions area.

You can compare your results at any time, and you can bring your binder to appointments.

Yes, our providers are able to do routine GYN tests including pap smears, orders for mammograms, dexa scans, STD testing, etc.

We do most of the blood work and procedures in our office, and you need to schedule an appointment for the blood draws, ultrasounds, dexascans, stress test, etc. For Non-insured and self-pay patients, there might be additional charge from the labs for processing lab work. You may call the front office for more details.

Whether you need to fast depends on what type of blood work will be ordered by your provider. Verify with one of the medical assistants or your provider whether you will need to fast or not for the blood work they have ordered.

We accept payment in cash, Care credit card, credit cards, and ATM debit card with Visa or Mastercard logo. We also accept American Express and Discover as forms of payment. You also have an opportunity to set up a payment plan.

Ask our billing department for more detailed information on payment plans.

We do NOT accept checks for the following: cash/self-pay and Weight Loss patients.

For WEIGHT LOSS PATIENTS ONLY, we accept Care Credit as well as the types of payments listed above.

Depending on your insurance, we will either need to collect co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible.

For self-pay/cash pay patients, we will collect your full office visit payment at the time of service and as well as the cost of any procedures done in office on the same day.

We accept most of the insurances that are PPO’s. You can contact us to find out whether your specific insurance is accepted or not.

Yes, you can still be seen in our office, but you will be expected to be a self-pay / cash pay patient. All payments will be collected upfront, including any payments for procedures done in the office.

ACA is a United States federal statute signed into law by President Barack Obama. Starting 2014, most people must have health coverage or they will be responsible to pay a fee.

The Marketplace gives you more choice and control over your health coverage. In the Marketplace, you can compare coverage options that fit your budget and needs. In Nevada, our Marketplace is the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.

Anthem BCBS, St. Mary’s Health Plans, HPN, and Nevada Health Co-op are currently available.

Currently we are contracted with Anthem BCBS and St. Mary’s Health Plans.
