Joe grew up on a farm in Eastern Washington, where he participated in sports and actively served his community in the scouting program, ultimately earning rank of Eagle Scout. Joe studied at Utah Valley University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. During this time, he had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala, aiding in the supplying and fitting of prosthetic limbs to amputees. He also worked at Intermountain Healthcare as a physical therapy aide, which ultimately led him to his decision of pursuing a career in medicine.
Joe moved to Henderson, NV in 2015, after his acceptance into Touro University’s PA program. While attending school, he was once again able to give back to his community by working on Touro’s Mobile Health Clinic, providing healthcare to the underserved communities in Las Vegas. He graduated in 2017 and chose to follow his passion of Family Medicine.
In his free time he enjoys weight lifting, hiking, snowboarding, camping and spending time with family and friends.
